Siyeon’s Tears Touch Hearts at QWER Japan Fan Concert
One of the most moving parts of the night was when Siyeon broke into tears while singing “Harmony of Stars.” From August 2021 to August 2023, she had been a member of NMB48 and spent two years in Japan. However, her success came later, after debuting with QWER in Korea on October 18, 2023. Many of her former NMB48 teammates and old fans were in the audience that night. Seeing them again overwhelmed her with emotion.
Fans Share Their Emotions Online
Japanese fans shared heartfelt stories on social media after the show. Some were overjoyed to see Siyeon again after two years. One fan admitted they cried just from seeing her face. Another said Siyeon had always been cute, but now looked even more radiant. Many fans expressed their wish to welcome her back to Japan again. Korean fans who read these stories online called it “a drama within a drama” and were touched by the emotional reunion.
Celebrity Support Adds to the Buzz
The concert also gained attention for its celebrity attendees. Renowned shoe designer Mihara Yasuhiro and Ainyan of the Japanese girl band Silent Siren were among the crowd. Their presence highlighted the growing influence and popularity of QWER beyond Korea.
