‘Come Over’ Gains Unexpected Popularity
While HOT dominates charts, the B-side track Come Over is also attracting attention, particularly on Korean online communities like MLBPARK. This track features production by a member of the British band Jungle, blending their signature vintage style with LE SSERAFIM’s modern touch. Unlike their powerful, beat-driven hits like ANTIFRAGILE and UNFORGIVEN, Come Over focuses on smooth grooves and a retro rhythm.
Lyrics and Visual Appeal of ‘Come Over’
The lyrics emphasize honesty and living in the moment, with lines like, “No lying when it feels right” and “So come over and dance.” The song’s nostalgic atmosphere extends to its stage performances, where LE SSERAFIM embraces a 1970s–80s aesthetic. Their outfits feature polka dots, stripes, and high-waisted pants, enhancing the retro vibe. Each member—Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae—showcases their individuality through these vintage styles.
Choreography and the Growing Retro Trend
The choreography complements Come Over’s upbeat groove, featuring fluid movements and disco-inspired steps. A signature move in the chorus—extending the arms forward while rapidly shaking the fingers—adds an addictive, rhythmic element. As Come Over gains traction, fans are speculating whether it will spark a new wave of retro music trends.
