LE SSERAFIM achieved impressive results on Billboard, with HOT ranking on Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks. Their strong global influence is reflected in high placements on multiple Billboard charts and their upcoming world tour. Despite their success, debates over concert ticket sales and ongoing legal actions against malicious commenters continue.
LE SSERAFIM Billboard Success and Chart Performance
LE SSERAFIM has made a strong impact on the U.S. Billboard charts for two consecutive weeks. According to Billboard’s latest rankings on April 5, their 5th mini-album HOT ranked 100th on the Billboard 200, marking its second week on the chart. Among K-pop groups, they achieved the highest ranking this week. Previously, LE SSERAFIM debuted at 9th place on this chart, making them the only 4th-generation K-pop girl group to have four consecutive albums enter the Billboard 200 top 10.
Their new album also secured the top spot on the World Albums chart for the second week in a row. In addition, they ranked 8th on both the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts. Their title track HOT placed 26th on Global Excl. U.S. and 51st on the Global 200, making it the highest-ranking K-pop group song this week. Furthermore, it reached 7th place on the World Digital Song Sales chart, the best performance among K-pop girl groups.
LE SSERAFIM Billboard Ranking and Global Influence
LE SSERAFIM’s popularity goes beyond album sales and streaming. They ranked 46th on the Artist 100 chart, which considers overall performance, including streaming, album sales, and radio airplay. This ranking highlights their growing global fanbase and strong presence in the music industry.
In addition to their chart success, LE SSERAFIM is preparing for their first world tour, 2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR “EASY CRAZY HOT“. The tour begins in Incheon on April 19–20, followed by performances in Nagoya, Osaka, Kitakyushu, Saitama, Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Controversy Over Concert Ticket Sales
While fans celebrate LE SSERAFIM’s achievements, a heated debate has emerged regarding ticket sales for their Incheon Inspire Arena concert. On Nate Pann, a community where many of their critics gather, discussions erupted over whether the concert had truly sold out.
LE SSERAFIM’s fans argued that floor seats and third-floor seats were already sold out, with only a few fourth-floor seats remaining. They provided evidence to support their claims. However, critics insisted that ticket scalpers had bought large quantities of tickets, artificially inflating sales numbers. Fans refuted this claim, pointing out that the concert uses a face-pass system, preventing resale and making mass ticket purchases by scalpers nearly impossible.
Legal Actions Against Malicious Comments
LE SSERAFIM has faced persistent online attacks, particularly from Nate Pann users. Their critics briefly quieted down after NewJeans lost a legal case, but false accusations and defamation continue.
In response, their agency, Source Music, started legal action against malicious commenters in May last year. By December 28, they had identified individuals responsible for spreading defamatory content. However, legal proceedings take time, and it may take nearly a year before any court rulings are finalized. If these individuals receive guilty verdicts, it could discourage further negative online activity against LE SSERAFIM.
